We were delighted to be given the opportunity to sponsor Northop Hall Girls’ Football Club, local girls’ teams in the under-8s, 10s, 12s, 14s and 16s age groups.

Formed in 2008, the teams have been going from strength to strength, and we are pleased to help support the club and the local community with a sponsorship package including new kits.

About Northop Hall Girls’ FC

Over the last couple of years there has been a massive growth in girls’ teams, and a friendly league has started including teams across North Wales. Northop Hall now has enough players for two teams in each age group and are the largest all-girls team in the region. Recent highlights have included a league win for the under-12s, and friendly matches against teams from the United States.

Friendliness is a high on the agenda at Northop Hall, and the teams are encouraged to enter tournaments outside of North Wales and build relationships with other clubs.

This has a definite appeal, and the club recently relocated to a bigger site which can accommodate the number of players they now have. They also organise an all-girls tournament every year, with around 600 players expected to attend the 2019 event.

Future plans include establishing an under-6 team and increasing the number of players in the under-16s team. Not only that, but the club wants to help build a better and more inclusive community facility to use as their base.

We wish everyone in the teams good luck for this season and beyond!
