Chemical Blending Operator Vacancy

Just last week we posted about a new job opportunity for a technical sales representative in our sales team at ReAgent. Well, we’re back at it again with a new career opportunity working hands on in our factory.

We’re looking to employ a Production/Chemical Blending Operator spending the majority of the day in the manufacturing area heavily involved with the batch manufacture of chemical mixtures in sizes ranging from 1L upto 5,000L to tight specifications. Do you think you have the right skill set for this position?

Job Purpose

Blend chemicals in accordance with set SOP’s in a safe and accurate manner to ensure the end product is in line with customer expectation. Also to assist dispatch to ensure goods are dispatched on–time and accurately and adhere to current legislation regarding the labelling of hazardous goods for transport

Job Skills

  • FLT – Counterbalance & Reach (this is preferable but not essential)
  • Computer literate – Web based dispatch systems / In house database / Outlook
  • Chemical handling background preferred.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions.
  • Competent and confident in using simple machinery and equipment
