ReAgent’s 2015 Calendar
2015 – ReAgent’s 36th year of trading – is upon us. It is also the year that our popular website, The Chemical Blog, will have its third birthday. So far in 2015 we have already taken on a new member of staff and we plan to recruit more throughout the year, including the addition of apprentices in our Production Team.
At the end of last year, we looked back on all that we achieved in 2014, which we split into part 1 and part 2 as there was so much to cover. 2014 was a defining year for ReAgent, during which we achieved a great deal and ventured onto lots of new ground, dipping our toes in new markets.
We’re entering 2015 with the aim of developing much of what we began in 2014 and continuing to drive the business forward with lots of exciting plans and projects in the pipeline.
New Factory Equipment
Some of our biggest customers have been increasingly adding to their orders as demand for their products have grown. In order to cope with this, we’re having two new large mixing tanks installed in the factory, which are due to be added in early 2015.
The tanks will provide us with up-to-date technology for large-scale chemical blending and will mean we can produce quality products more efficiently and in larger quantities.
In addition to this, we’re also specifying a new, fully-automated bottling facility that has the ability to label, fill, seal and cap containers. This will operate in a similar way to our ampoule filling and sealing machine (see video below) in that it can generate large batches in a small space of time.
More International Ventures
In 2014 we implemented the first stage of our expansion into Europe by setting up a website in the Netherlands. This year, we’ll be building on this and increasing our reach to even more European countries by setting up more ReAgent international websites.
We’re targeting Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium and Ireland.
Keep an eye on the blog over the next month or so for updates as this venture progresses.
Attending More Events
In March, we will be exhibiting at Making Cosmetics 2015. As we’d gained so much from attending events such as Making Cosmetics and Making Pharmaceuticals last year, in 2015 we are stepping it up a gear and becoming an exhibitor. We’re confident the exhibition will be bustling with opportunities to connect with suppliers and customers and gain valuable insight into the industry.
Over the course of the year, we also plan to attend other events such as Chemspec Europe, which will be held in Cologne, Germany in June and as usual we will continue to go to the fascinating events and shows run by MOSI.
As sponsors of The BLOODHOUND Project, we get invited to some events run by the organisation. We’re going to attend events wherever we can and maybe we’ll even get to see BLOODHOUND SSC!
With video content being so popular on the web, we will be generating a lot more video footage this year. 2013 saw the introduction of videos showcasing our main services, but we’re supersizing this for 2015; we’ll film more videos of our facilities, events we attend and interviews with industry leaders and customer reviews.
On top of this, we have our “Mother Video” in the pipeline which we will use as the umbrella footage that shows the story and life of ReAgent.
It won’t be long until the new internet connection is installed, which will help us to provide the best possible service to our customers without the worry of a technical failure. This will also allow us to use VoIP, presenting benefits such as intelligent call routing, remote office and detailed reporting.
As a company with an embedded lean culture, 2015 will see the execution of a new company-wide Continuous Improvement Programme, which will benefit both our employees and our customers.
